Who we are
Living by the Mantras is the official website of author Colleen Souza. The site is operated by Mantras Media, located in the United States.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out the form on the Connect page, we collect your name, email address, the topic you selected, and whatever you write in the message field. When you subscribe to the newsletter, we collect your email address through our email provider, beehiiv.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, we and our analytics and advertising partners may collect your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how long you stay, and the site or ad that sent you here. We do not ask for and do not want sensitive information such as payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, or health information.
How we use it

- Respond to your message and follow up about speaking, podcast, or coaching inquiries
- Send the newsletter and related updates if you subscribed

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the site, and only so they can do their job:

The blog is hosted on beehiiv, the podcast is hosted on Podbean, the book links go to Amazon, and the social icons go to TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, and YouTube. Once you leave livingbythemantras.com, this policy no longer applies. Read the privacy policy of whatever site you land on.
Your choices
Newsletter: every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it and you are out.
Cookies and tracking: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. See the Cookie Policy for opt-out links for Google and Meta.
Access, correction, or deletion: if you want to know what we have about you, fix it, or have it deleted, contact us through the Connect page and we will take care of it. Depending on where you live, you may have these rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR. We honor these requests regardless of where you live.
Children
This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we collect, including an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No website can promise perfect security, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
Changes
